Welcome to our Maktab Application Form

Registering Interest for the Maktab - Before applying consider the following:

1. Is my child going to be in year 1 in September?
2. Is my child ready to start maktab in September?
3. Is my child classroom disciplined i.e. willing to sit, listen and follow instructions?
4. Is my child toilet trained i.e. can go to the toilet independently?

If the response is yes then please submit an application.

However, if after submitting the form it is found that your child is either too young or too old then their application will be deleted at the end of the current academic year. (Our Academic year runs from September to August).
The maktab will not notify you in such instances.
If you are still interested for a space at the Maktab then a new application form will need to be submitted in the new academic year.

Our Admission Criteria & Process

1. Every year in September we aim to take on children who are going into Year 1 at school.
2. Siblings currently studying at the maktab and our musallees (people who offer 5 times congregational prayers at our masajids) are given priority, thereafter any available space will be given to children on our waiting list.
3. By registering your child it does not guarantee a place at the maktab.
4. We advise that you also look elsewhere.
5. If you do not hear from us by summer of the current academic year then unfortunately your child has not been offered a place.
6. If your child is older than year 1 then we will contact you once a space becomes available for their age group. Places are only offered after an assessment.
7. At the end of each Maktab year we DELETE your records from our waiting list.

We have spaces available for our new Boys Advanced Islamic Studies (Pre-Sanatain & Sanatain).
